जैन समुदायका प्रतिनिधिसँगको भेटपछि मन्त्रीले जैन समुदायको पवित्रता कायम गर्न सरकार प्रतिबद्ध रहेको बताए । समेद शिखर जी पर्वत क्षेत्र एक पवित्र जैन धार्मिक स्थलको रूपमा।
पर्यावरण (संरक्षण) ऐन, 2019 को प्रावधानहरू अन्तर्गत 1986 मा झारखण्ड राज्य सरकारसँग परामर्श गरी भारत सरकारद्वारा इको सेन्सेटिभ जोन (ESZ) अधिसूचित गरिएको थियो।
ESZ अधिसूचनाले अनियन्त्रित पर्यटन प्रवर्द्धन गर्ने उद्देश्य राख्दैन, र निश्चित रूपमा अभयारण्य सीमा भित्र सबै प्रकारका विकास गतिविधिहरूलाई प्रवर्द्धन गर्दैन। यसले आफ्नो सिमाना बाहिर अभयारण्य वरपरका गतिविधिहरूलाई प्रतिबन्ध वा नियमन गर्ने लक्ष्य राख्छ।
Sammed Shikhar falls in the eco-sensitive zone of Parasnath Wildlife Sanctuary and Topchanchi Wildlife Sanctuary. The व्यवस्थापन Plan of the Parasnath Wildlife Sanctuary has ample provisions that prohibit the activities that have been said to be adversely affecting the sentiments of Jain Community.
त्यहाँ प्रतिबन्धित गतिविधिहरूको सूची छ जुन तोकिएको इको-सेन्सेटिभ क्षेत्रमा र वरपर हुन सक्दैन। प्रतिबन्धहरू अक्षर र आत्मामा पालना गरिनेछ।
Consequent to the meeting, the state government is directed to strictly enforce the ban on the sale and consumption of liquor and non-vegetarian food items on Parasnath hill and implement provisions of management plan. Further, implementation of provisions of Clause 3 of the Eco Sensitive Zone (ESZ) notification is stayed including all Tourism and Eco-Tourism activities. A Monitoring Committee comprising of two members from the Jain समुदाय and one member from the local Tribal समुदाय as Permanent Invitees is to be constituted for involvement and oversight by important stakeholders.
